Boets is the MD of De Krans Wines. Boets completed his BSc Agric at Stellenbosch University in 1980 where after he took over the family business in 1982. He qualified as a Cape Wine Master in 1997 and has made significant contributions to the wine and port industry in South Africa, with many innovative ideas.
Stroebel, the younger Nel brother, joined the family business in 1988 upon completion of his degree at Elsenburg. Stroebel is the viticulturist and farm manager and plays a huge role in ensuring the continued great quality of our vineyards.
Louis joined the De Krans team in 2013. Having gained experience working with Portuguese grape varieties both locally and internationally, his knowledge and passion has been invaluable to the development of the De Krans Wine range. He was also nominated for Diners Club Young Winemaker of the year in 2014.
Shannon joined the team in 2017 as the De Krans Bistro and Deli manager. As a chef-in-training he also headed up the very successful long table lunches and dinners which has become synonymous with De Krans. His extensive background in advertising and management has allowed him to make a good contribution to the growth of the Bistro and Deli.
