WINEMAKERS NOTES

Grape varietal: Muscat de Frontignan, Muscat de Alexandrie

Colour: Beautiful light green-yellow colour with fine bubbles.

Bouquet: Fresh tropical fruit flavours of litchi and apricot, enhanced by beautiful muscat flavours.

Taste: Tropical fruit, muscat and some spice on the taste, with fine bubbles and a good acidity to make a well-balanced product.
VINTAGE & WINEMAKING

Vineyards

Old low yielding vineyards planted in fertile Gamka sandy loam soils are harvested at the beginning of to mid-January. Grapes are picked at low sugars to ensure maximum fruit flavours.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested early morning to ensure cool temperatures. After the grapes are destemmed and crushed the juice is left on the skins for a short period. No fermentation has taken place. CO2 added just before bottling to create this Muscat Nectar.
FOOD PAIRING

Great on its own or served with fresh summer salads, cold meats or light meals. Also makes for an interesting pairing with mild curries. Serve chilled.
