In the latest round of industry awards, De Krans Wines excelled in both the Rosé Rocks Competition and Ultra Value Wine Challenge. The standout wine was the De Krans Premium Moscato Perlé Rosé 2022, which was not only awarded Sparkling of the Year at the Ultra event, but also received a Double Gold medal. De Krans Wines continued its winning streak at this year’s Veritas Award, scooping Gold medals for the De Krans Vintage Reserve 2018 and Garden Route Sauvignon Blanc 2022. The winners were announced at a special event in Paarl on 7 October. It’s been a great year for De Krans Wines on the competition front, with the latest accolade being awarded to their Cape Vintage Reserve 2012 for the Best In Museum Class category, at this year’s Trophy Wine Show. Sponsored by Investec, the awards were announced on 6 July. Not only was the Cape Vintage Reserve 2012 the winner in its category, but it also received an impressive score of 97 out of a possible 100 points.
